Frequent visitors benefit from a season pass, which is valid for all three Strandbad locations in Klagenfurt: Strandbad Klagenfurt, Strandbad Loretto and Strandbad Maiernigg. The adult season pass costs €87.80 at the online price.

At the main entrances of Strandbad Klagenfurt, both cash and card payments are accepted. Ticket machines are also available at the entrance and support cashless payment. Contactless payment options, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, are available where supported by the respective payment system. For smaller purchases at individual kiosks or service points, carrying some cash is recommended, as card payment may not always be available.
Parking spaces with costs are available near Strandbad Klagenfurt, but they fill up quickly on weekends and during hot weather. Arriving before 10:00 am is therefore recommended. If the main car park is full, alternative parking options are available near Minimundus and the P+R parking spaces in Villacher Straße. Please be aware of the current parking costs on site. Yes, bringing your own picnic is perfectly fine and a very popular choice across all the lidos. For safety reasons, we do ask that you avoid glass bottles and ensure all rubbish is either taken home or placed in the bins provided. Just a heads-up: barbecues are not permitted within the lido grounds.
The on-site restaurant and kiosks at Strandbad Klagenfurt serve food and drinks throughout the day. Please note that kitchen opening hours may vary, particularly during the evening. If you plan to eat later in the day, checking availability in advance by calling +43 463 537-2602 or visiting earlier is recommended to ensure full menu availability.

Yes, absolutely. Strandbad Klagenfurt is designed to be family-friendly and offers shallow non-swimmer areas, a water playground and several playgrounds for different age groups. During opening hours, lifeguards ensure safety throughout the swimming areas. Family changing rooms and baby changing facilities are also available.
In Strandbad Klagenfurt a beautiful old stand of trees provides generous natural shaded areas. Sun sails and other coverings also provide shade in the gastronomy and recreational areas. On very hot days it is adviseable to arrive early to secure a shady spot under one of the trees. Additionaly, we naturally recommend sufficient sun protection, a head covering, and bringing your own umbrella. Alternatively, umbrellas are also available for rent.
Strandbad Klagenfurt can be busy on weekends and on hot summer days, especially during peak season and holiday season in July and in August. Because of the wide green areas there is still enough space for all guests. For a quieter visit, coming on weekdays or early in the morning is recommended. Are you looking for a smaller alternative? Then our other lidos Strandbad Loretto (quieter and family-friendly) and Strandbad Maiernigg (close to nature and away from big crowds) are also an option. Your Season pass is valid at all three Strandbad locations and offers you maximum flexibility.
